In a nutshell, Jessica Simpson is becoming a fashion billionaire. Her various clothing and beauty ventures have racked up a huge $750 million in sales in the last year alone. When you combine the fact that people genuinely love this beautiful, approachable, and very likable star with the fact that everything with her name on it is extraordinary, how could she not succeed?

Simpson’s colleague, Vince Camuto, whose company is the main licensee for the star’s own-brand merchandise, is convinced her success is all down to her fan-friendly image. He says, “People like her. People look at her as a style icon.”
I have to add this, however. Like her or not (and I think most of us like her very much), she wouldn’t have been able to have built this empire if her products were shabby. Women are very intelligent and pretty particular when it comes to their shoes, handbags, and perfume. We simply don’t settle for anything less than the best – no matter how much we like the name attached.
Fortunately, in this case, we can love the name and love the products.
I just read this morning that Jessica Simpson is set to launch a new sportswear range next autumn.
Simpson says, “This new sportswear line reflects my evolving style, which combines comfort, femininity and flirty fun.”
