Trash the Dress

by Stephany on May 3, 2010

One of my favorite trends.. Brides “trashing” their Wedding Dresses. This photo is one of my favorites. The brides name is “Rachel” and she got paint splattered all over her pretty gown.  Google “Trash the Dress” and look at all the other ones out there. I’ll post more soon. There are ones with mud that are stunning. I dont know if I would have the guts to do it, but it makes for gorgeous art.

I just had to post these photos of Alessandra Ambrosio from Vogue Russia May 2010. She’s one of my favorite models, and these photos are soo interesting. I love the styling, her make-up is so dewy and understated and she looks amazing. Don’t you love them?!

Nicole Richie is already one of my favorite celebrity designers, so I’m super excited to hear that she is adding handbags to her House of Harlow collection. I’m sure they will be as amazing as her Winter Kate lines and her other accessories for House of Harlow. They should be here by spring of next year.

I’ve heard that 40 different handbag styles are expected! I’ll post the photos here once they are relased. Rick Cytrynbaum, the producer of House of Harlow 1960 accessories describes them as being,”very, very, very Nicole. “If you look at the clothing and you look at the footwear, you get an idea of what the bags are going to be.” He says she’s played a huge part in designing the bags and has even chosen a lot of the fabrics and embellishments.

The bags will run from about $295 to $595, cant wait to see them and order one!

Here’s one of my favorite Nicole photoshoots done by Marie Claire UK.

I cant get enough of Brazilian model Francisco Lachowski in his latest campaign for the colorful T.I for Men. I love how simple it is, but so stunning. His hair, the sandals, the colors, the whole bit. Delicious!

NEW YORK – EBay Inc. wants more shoppers to think of it when they want new fashions.

That has the Web marketplace launching a new fashion site Monday. It’s the latest in a series of changes that will sometimes have it acting more like an outlet mall or “private sale” Web site.

EBay is working with fashion brands and retailers such as French Connection to act as sellers. The new microsite, fashion.ebay.com, will bring together several new ways of selling.

The company began testing “flash” sales — short-term sales of a small selection of discounted items — late last year. It launched its “Fashion Vault” flash-sale site earlier this week. EBay also is creating an online outlet mall that has enlisted Lord & Taylor and has other sellers on the way.
