The most exciting colour on the catwalks this season appears to be a definite burnt orange hue. Many designers have opted to use this vibrant and energetic shade in their new season collections for womens clothing. Fashion houses including the likes of Issa, Prada and Marni are just a few of this season’s designers that have chosen the hot orange hue for 2011.

Using the hottest tints of burnt orange creates the illusion of glowing fabrics sashaying down the runway. However, using a softer hue, such as the shades Alberta Ferretti and Max Azria chose, made the outfits much more versatile. Adding a hint of hot or burnt orange to a neutral black or beige outfit works extremely well and beige and black accessories were big on the catwalks for 2011.
Another big trend on the catwalk for this season is the ever popular floral print. Every season seems to showcase some sort of floral pattern, making it a definite investment for your year round wardrobe. A feminine style is most definitely created using the classic floral print, whether used on shorts, tees, shifts or dresses. Floral prints can however be given a little bit of a rebellious edge when teamed with some fierce accessories, such as statement biker jackets, distresses heels or boots and rock-chick make-up and bedhead hair.
Erdem is one such designer that always seems to have some floral attire adorning the models at his shows, this season he teamed the classic floral print with a little lace in order to create an ultra feminine look for 2011.

Floral prints also work extremely well when it comes to creating a vintage look. TMZ is reporting that Ed Hardy clothing founder Christian Audigier and his company will be the next tenant of the Holmby Hills mansion where Michael Jackson lived or awhile, and then died.. and he’ll relocate headquarters there in December. Audigier was said to be a close frend of Michael Jackson. He will be leasing the mansion from Ed Hardy CEO Hubert Guez, who owns the estate. Michael leased the 7-bedroom, 13-bath French chateau since January, and he paid a pretty penny a month…$100,000!
