It’s annoying when I hear, “What do your girls do?” Well, first of all, all of my daughters have jobs. They are fashion stylists and designers; they own a chain of stores. They had the stores before they had the show. And my kids worked from the time they were 13 years old. So to me, that’s a huge misconception — that the girls don’t work. They work 25 hours a day. And that they don’t have any talent? They might not be singers or dancers, but they certainly know how to produce a television show. Whether you want to call it talent or not, they have multiple shows on the air. [I want to say,] How many shows do you have?

In the excerpt below, Kim addresses the misconception that her daughters don’t work hard and haven’t earned their fame:

Kim Kardashian Is Dead But Not So Much

Kim Kardashian is donating her gorgeous famous face for a promotional ad of Alicia Keys’ initiative, Keep a Child Alive. The reality TV star is seen lying in a coffin with tagline “Kim Kardashian Is Dead”.

“Kim sacrificed her digital life to give real life to millions of others affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India,” it was further explained. “That means no more Facebook or Twitter until we buy her life back.” To help raise money for this charity, fans can visit BuyLife.org or text “KIM” to 90999.

Leigh Blake, president and co-founder of Keep a Child Alive charity, had this to say of the cause: “We’re trying to sort of make the remark: Why do we care so much about the death of one celebrity as opposed to millions and millions of people dying in the place that we’re all from?”

The other celebrities involved in this fund-raising effort include Jay Sean, Katie Holmes, Ryan Seacrest, Serena Williams, Usher, Willow Smith, Jaden Smith, Lady GaGa and Swizz Beatz.

Kim Kardashian on the New Orleans Saint’s Victory and Reggie Bush

It turned out to be one Super Sunday for gorgeous Kim Kardashian and her Super Bowl-winning boyfriend – the equally gorgeous Reggie Bush, of the victorious New Orleans Saints.

“I am so proud of Reggie and the Saints!” an overjoyed Kardashian told PEOPLE. “New Orleans deserves this – it’s such a huge accomplishment!”

Kim Kardashian made the Superbowl trip to Miami with her mom Kris Jenner and brother Robert. The group dined with Bush and his family at Prime 112 Friday night.

Kim added: “Reggie has waited his whole life for this moment. It came and they conquered.  It was a really good win!”

Congrats to Reggie, the Saints, New Orleans, and all of their fans – Kim’s right, it was a really good win.  How awesome that Reggie and the Saints will always be known as Superbowl champs.  That’s gotta feel good!



Kim Kardashian Gets a New Job!

OK! Magazine announced today that glamourous celeb Kim Kardashian has signed on to be the magazine’s newest Contributing Beauty Editor. Kim’s new position with OK! Magazine will begin in September to coincide with New York Fashion Week.

Kim has been in the media recentley for the launch of her fragrance called Lighthouse Beauty, which I’ve yet to smell, but I’m sure I’ll love it.

The Examiner is reporting that Kim will capture the inside scoop on New York Fashion Week’s biggest shows. She will provide both print and video news from backstage which will be exclusively provided to OK! readers.

After New York Fashion Week is over Kim will continue to work with OK! to provide ongoing expertise with her various beauty tips and insights into her favorite products. She will provide regular, seasonally-themed, features and columns.

“I’m really looking forward to being a part of the team at OK!” Kim says. She went on to say that “now the types of tips I’ve given on my own blog can be seen by an even wider audience. I’ve always loved beauty, so opportunities like this and the upcoming partnership with Lighthouse feel like natural, perfect fits.”
