Jennifer Lopez: Gorgeous and Glam as Always

Jennifer Lopez style

There’s positively nothing I don’t love about Jennifer Lopez’s look here…. or ever for that matter.  She’s one of those stars who obviously is meticulous about every minute detail – from the bag to the hair. Everything is always perfectly pulled together and flawlessly glam and sexy.  This is how all celebrities should look! Happy, smiling, fashionable, stylish, and ooh la la from head to toes.  Snarling, miserable-looking celebs are a dime a dozen, I’ll take J’ Lo over any of them!

How to Make Your Hair Grow: A Top 10 List

Jennifer Lopez

Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary, how does your garden grow? The modern version would tell Mary to keep the gardening 411 and share her secrets to growing her hair. Whether an individual is having trouble with thinning hair or hair that seems to have simply forgotten how to grow, nearly everyone seems to be asking the same question, “How can I make my hair grow?!”

Fortunately, the answers are specific and fairly simple. However, as with all great advice, you have to be consistent. You can’t abide by them for a day, a week, or even a month and then give the advice the “brush off” (sorry, I couldn’t resist). You have to make the following hair care and hair growing advice a part of your daily life.

The extra good news is that the following tips won’t just help you grow hair, they’ll help the hair you have look its best. Taking care of your hair will make it shinier, healthier, and more beautiful than ever before.

A final thing to keep in mind: Do as many of these as possible for the best results. The more tips you carry out, the better your success will be.

  1. You’ve heard it before, you are what you eat.  No truer words were ever spoken. If you want your body, your health, your hair, and even your skin to be their best, you MUST watch what you eat.  Eat protein-rich foods (chicken, meat, pork, Boca Burgers) for beautiufl tresses. Protein is also essential to beautiful, healthy skin.   Also, eat lots of  fish, since fish contains the essential natural oils and fatty acids that your hair needs. Fish is also excellent for you overall health.
  2. Drink plenty of water. Water’s great for your hair as well as your skin.
  3. Be sure to get plenty of the B Vitamins. Look for B2, B5, B6, B9, and B12; each is vital to hair growth.  Try to get these vitamins in your daily diet.  Research the foods that are highest in the B vitamins.  Also, here’s a great trick: Fall in love with vitamin-fortified cereal as well as Vitamin Water.  Look for the ones containing B Vitamins.
  4. Get plenty of rest.  Being tired is bad for your complexion, your mood, and your hair. Is it any wonder they refer to it as getting your beauty sleep?
  5. Find a way to deal with stress.  Stress wreaks havoc on your entire body, head to toe.
  6. Use gentle shampoo and conditioners.  If you have a problem with thinning or flat hair, only condition the ends. Conditioning the roots will only make your hair flatter.
  7. Go easy with the styling products! Too much gunk will make your hair look lifeless, dull, and flat.  Besides, they aren’t necessarily healthy for your hair anyway.  Remember, try to keep it as simple as possible.
  8. Put down the flat iron and step away.  If you use hair tools such as flat irons, blow dryers, and curling irons daily, you’re doing more harm to your hair than you’ll ever realize (before it’s too late, that is).   Mix things up! Let your hair be full and wavy (or curly) some days – sleek on others.  Not only is it healthy for you hair, it’s always better to mix things up and keep them interesting!
  9. Allow your hair to dry naturally. After washing your hair, gently pat it dry with a big , soft towel.   Don’t scrub it wildly like some people do – what part of that actually looks nurturing to hair?!
  10. Avocados are great for beautiful hair.  Peel the avocados, remove the pitt, and mash them together with lemon or lime juice, a little salt, and (if you like things spicy) crushed red pepper or chopped jalapeno.
