Dark circles under the eyes is a problem all of us face at one time or another. When they show up – hideously unannounced and most certainly uninvited – we don’t care WHY they’re there so much as we want to know how to get rid of them.
Getting rid of dark circles under the eyes is actually fairly easy. Fortunately, we can camouflage the dark circles as we’re in the process of getting rid of them. There are tons of concealers on the market that can put them out of sight and out of mind, but are you using the right kind?
You just have to arm yourself with the right weapons. Below are some tips that’ll help you if you’re battling under eye circles.
The products shown in this post are trusted and used by millions – and for good reason… they work! Like all things, when it comes to beauty, the trick is to try several different products until you find the one that you simply can’t live without. One other piece of advice: When choosing beauty products (cosmetics, fragrances, lotions, beauty treatments, hair care products, etc.) keep this in mind – the “big” names got that way for a reason… they know what they’re doing. When tackling something like dark circles under your eyes, go with the brands that are household names. They didn’t get that way by accident and they didn’t get that way by letting people down.

Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary, how does your garden grow? The modern version would tell Mary to keep the gardening 411 and share her secrets to growing her hair. Whether an individual is having trouble with thinning hair or hair that seems to have simply forgotten how to grow, nearly everyone seems to be asking the same question, “How can I make my hair grow?!”
Fortunately, the answers are specific and fairly simple. However, as with all great advice, you have to be consistent. You can’t abide by them for a day, a week, or even a month and then give the advice the “brush off” (sorry, I couldn’t resist). You have to make the following hair care and hair growing advice a part of your daily life.
The extra good news is that the following tips won’t just help you grow hair, they’ll help the hair you have look its best. Taking care of your hair will make it shinier, healthier, and more beautiful than ever before.
A final thing to keep in mind: Do as many of these as possible for the best results. The more tips you carry out, the better your success will be.

New Manicure Trend: Duck Feet Nails (click for larger view)
Wow. Just wow. Check out the Duck Feet Nails above! I’d actually never heard of Duck Feet Nails before today but danged if I’m not madly in love with them. They’re stylish, unique, and deliciously 70′s. These Duck Feet Nails are something you’d definitely see (and surely WILL see) on Rihanna, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and the Kardashians.
Like the celebs mentioned, they’re sexy, fun, and seem to delight in being extraordinary.
From Stylelist.com:
Celebrities like Ke$ha, Rihanna and Katy Perry have been known to add a little self-expression to their digits with elaborately decorated nails, but the trend isn’t merely sweeping Hollywood, it has worked its way across the country into small town salons as well.
New York City-based manicurist Julie Kandalec, whose work recently graced the hands of Brooklyn Decker on Esquire’s February 2011 cover, has always loved getting creative at work, but picked up on the budding trend on a trip overseas.
“This new wave (of nail art) I just noticed about two years ago when I went to Hong Kong,” she says. “Then I was in Japan in November for the Tokyo Nail Expo and, over there, holy cow! They use crystals, glitter, 3D and Hello Kitty… it’s wild. It’s really, really cool.”
Proof that literally everything is in 3D these days, Kandalec explains what the term means in relation to nail art.
“Basically it’s when you place anything that stands out from the nail — maybe a charm, a crystal or sculpted flowers made with colored acrylic,” she describes. “It can be anything you can find in a bead store, things that aren’t even really designed for nails. For example, the Japanese love Hello Kitty so we could use Hello Kitty buttons or anything like that which sticks out from the nail.”
You have to read the rest of this article and check out the other pictures of HOT manicures. You’ll completely flip for the Japanese 3D manicured nails. So gorgeous, they’re works of art.
I found a great site today (Refinery29.com), and they have a fabulous post about 2011′s hottest Spring Nail Polish Trends. I was going to do a similar post, so I figured I’d just save my time and let you guys enjoy their hard work.
2011′s 6 Coolest Nail Polish Trends
I’m in love with every color, especially the “Nature Nudes”. That’s the look I’m currently wearing. I also am obsessed with the Peach, which looks perfect with a tan.. and the gun metal greys. Well if Justin Bieber can do it, “Glee” can too.
“Glee” is teaming up with OPI for a nail polish collection that will be featured on the February 8th episode and will hit stores next month. The line will be available at Sephora exclusively.
The colors include:
“Slushied” an opaque blue, “Hell to the No” a a bold purple, “Gleek Out” a lime, glittery green, “Diva-in-Training” a poppy pink, “Who Let the Dorks Out” a peacock green, “Miss Bossy Pants” a rich raspberry, and “Mash-Up” a pearlescent green gray.
A mini set will feature limited edition colors including “Celibacy Club,” a glimmering, diamond top coat; “Express Yourself to Yourself,” a coral shimmer shade, and “Sue Vs Shue,” a navy blue.
Is it bad that I might buy a few of these? I’ll post pictures when I get my hands on either the polish or some photos from the website.

Parlux Fragrances Inc. is close to unveiling Rihanna’s long-awaited women’s fragrance.
The beautiful diva’s fragrance is called Reb’| Fleur. I love the name’s origin – it’s from a nickname Rihanna’s grandmother used to call her.
The fragrance is being launched by Parlux Fragrances Inc. Parlux chief exzecutive officer Fred Purches hopes Rihanna will prove to be somewhat of a third pillar for his business, along with Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson. “We need a third,” he said.
The fragrance, which will launch on January 25, is developed by Caroline Sabas and Marypierre Julien of Givaudan. The fragrance’s structure is said to have red berries, purple plum and peach. At the heart are Hawaiian hibiscus flower, violet, tuberose and coconut water. The base is formed by vanilla, patchouli, amber and musk.
The singer is said to have wanted a scent that reflected her roots in Barbados and life in New York and Los Angeles — “like high heels with a short, flirty dress,” she reportedly described it.
As for price points, a 1.7-oz. eau de parfum will retail for a suggested $49, the 3.4-oz. size will be priced $59 and a 6.7-oz. body lotion will be $30.

With her first Cover Girl commercial, Taylor Swift proved that she has as much charisma as she does beauty. Cover Girl made a perfect choice when they signed Taylor.
Great make-up, great spokes-model.
